A few weeks ago Bella was begging me to do the school talent show. At first I didn't know if I wanted her to do it because it fell on Cambri's birthday, but after some consideration we decided she could. She was originally supposed to sing a song by Selena Gomez with a girl I have never met named Holly. About a week before the show Holly decided she didn't want to do it anymore leaving Bella with no one. Bella was upset because she wasn't sure she wanted to do it by herself, but she really wanted to do the show. I gave her the idea to ask her best friend because her best friend wouldn't decide at the last minute that she didn't want to do it. So she asked Emily, who of course said yes. They changed the song to one they both like (Bella didn't like the Selena Gomez song and Emily had never heard of it) and spent a few days practicing. They did great at the talent show, sang loud and clear, which as you can imagine many of the other elementary school kids were a little hard to hear (stage fright). The only thing I can say they need to do for next year is, get a second microphone. When you watch the video you will understand why!
For those of you who don't know, that song is called Grenade by Bruno Mars. They even dressed up and did their hair like he wears his (only a little longer of course).
There was a few other really good shows, a group of kids did Party Rock by LMFAO and got all the kids from the whole audience involved, and another boy could Pop and Lock (dance moves) like a professional, then there were two kids that did a Michael Jackson dance, and were really good. Those were some of my other favorites. We didn't get to vote on a 1st place winner, but if we could have I think these two girls had a chance to win it!
