They say a dog is man's best friend, and I believe that to be true. However, Shaft was the exception. Shaft was a woman's best friend, and he was mine. He gave me his all for almost 10 years, and for that I am forever grateful. In his short life he taught me many things, he taught me loyalty, to trust, to laugh, and most importantly to love unconditionally. My heart will forever hold the memories of his snuggles, and pug kisses, and his snoring. I miss him so much it hurts and I wish dogs got a longer time here on earth, but I know he lived a happy life. If he were here right now, he would snuggle me, give me a kiss, and in a pug snort say its gonna be alright. Shaft my man, you will be forever missed!
