Purple and White

For Johnny's birthday I bought him K-State season tickets for football. This included free tickets to the spring Purple White game. We had so much fun, and Bella signed up to do cheer camp and got to cheer the first half of the game. Here are some pics!

Handful

I have said before that Cambri is going to be a handful when she grows up, but today only proves my theory more. This afternoon we were outside playing when she noticed the neighbor boys riding 4 wheelers in their backyard. What does she do? She grabs her Power Wheels 4 wheeler and starts driving their way so they can "ride bikes." She has no idea that these boys are at least 4 times her age and that their 4 wheelers are not power wheels. Had she have known though I don't think she would have let it stop her. Being two or a girl will not stop her from showing the boys on real 4 wheelers she is just as good as them. I imagine this will only get worse as she gets older. I also imagine when she is 4 times her age and riding a real 4 wheeler with the boys. Those boys won't be any competition for her!

The House

When I first started my blog one of the firsts posts I did was about us living in our first home for a year. As you know we have moved back to Manhattan and soon that home will be listed for sale. We did a ton of work to the house, most of it once we decided to sell. We learned a lot of what we do and don't want to do to the next house too. However, all the work we did caused me to fall in love with my house just a little bit, when I didn't really love it before. Now I wish we could just bring it with! Though that may have something to do with the Manhattan buying market. Here is some before and after pictures.

I hope someone else falls in love with our house too, and I hope they enjoy it as much as we have the last three years!

P.S. If you know someone looking for a home in Raymore or the Kansas City area, feel free to drive by and take a look! I hear word of mouth is also a great selling tool!

Two Year Doctors Visit

Cambri had her two year check up last week. She really took being two seriously too. She was fine when we got there, friendly to the nurses, happy, talking and smiling, but when it came time to weigh her she clung to me like velcro. She screamed, she yelled, she hit the nurse, refusing to get weighed. We finally got her weight (24 pounds/22nd percentile) and went back to the room where I tried to dress her. After fighting for several minutes just to get her diaper on I decided to leave her without clothes until after the examination. The doctor came in and measured her (32inches/ 10th percentile) listened to her heart and lungs, examined her joints, etc. He did all of this as she screamed her head off and clung to me like velcro some more. Other than the screaming the appointment was good, she is growing, healthy, and they even gave her a free book!
