We recently moved Cambri from a crib to a toddler bed. We were worried she would try to climb out of the crib and hurt herself (she could climb the outside of the crib almost to the top), so we moved the toddler bed in. We left the crib in the room for awhile because we were also worried that she wouldn't stay in the toddler bed and we would be putting her back in bed in the middle of night when she decided it was play time. We haven't had to do that yet though and it has been nearly a month in her big girl bed (knock on wood). When she is ready for bed she comes to us with a blanket and says nigh nigh. We walk in her room, she climbs into bed and lays right down, then we tuck her in. It was pretty much a flawless transition, and I couldn't be more proud of my big girl!
